Again, we would like to thank all the supporters who have donated to this project so far.
Women and children arrive in our safe houses with very few personal belongings and have moved a significant way from home and their support networks. This can be a very traumatic time and having a few 'homely' items, clean bedding or toys for the children can make all the difference when settling in.
Beds are made up with gifts left for the women and a teddy and a few toys for the chldren.
These small gestures can help the families to feel welcomed and cared for at a desperately difficult time.
With your continued help, we can carry on supporting women and children to live a life free from fear and abuse.
