I think that due to the pandemic we have not raised as much as we had hoped so are not close to our target.
In what has been a very difficult year for so many people it was always going to be hard to predict how fundraising was going to go.
With so many people either on reduced hours/pay and others facing loosing their jobs it is hard to expect people to donate to charity at a time when they themselves may soon need help.
We are so grateful for people who have given to us and hopefully over time we will raise what we need to make our new refuge a welcoming space for families fleeing desperate situations.
