Help us make our Safe house a home

Hi,

thank you all so much for your kindness and generosity. We are nearly half way through our target which is amazing.

In the last few months we have had many families come to stay with us. Some stay for the whole 6 months and others may only stay a week.

To be able to give them a nice home for how ever long they are with us is something that is very important. All of the women have fled from sometimes very dangerous situations. Some of the families arrive with only the clothes they are wearing. They can be scared and very wary about their new temporary home.

To be able to offer them a comfortable home where not only are they and their children safe but they are comfortable is vital. New bedding and home comforts are very important to self esteem and a feeling of self worth.

Thank you to you all for your kindness in helping us to make our refuge imto a home so that the families who arrive with us not only feel safe and secure but comfortable as well.

Clean beds and a place they can call home for the time they are with us is vital in their and their childrens recovery. 

To be able to furnish the house with the home comforts that so many of us take for granted is wonderful. We wouldnot be able to do it without your support and for that I and the whole team are very grateful.
