Help Unite Bulgaria's Student Volunteers

Although we have not yet received donations through the GlobalGiving platform, the Heroes' Cup volunteering competition is in full swing, and the celebratory event for its grand finale at the end of June is definitely happening, regardless. Our young heroes deserve to be recognized, and we want to give them the opportunity to reflect on a year of meaningful change—one they helped create through their dedication and good deeds.

In the first five months of the competition’s fifth season (October 2024 - February 2025), our school volunteers have completed 79 missions in support of various causes, including social initiatives, environmental projects, assistance for vulnerable groups, and the promotion of volunteerism. We currently have 19 active clubs from 12 different villages, towns, and cities all across Bulgaria. With three more monthly challenges ahead, we eagerly anticipate the inspiring stories they will continue to write through their actions.

Before launching our campaign on GlobalGiving, we successfully raised 1,125 BGN through the Giving Tuesday initiative. The goal of this fundraising campaign is the same as it is for this project: to cover travel and accommodation costs for students attending the grand finale. We remain hopeful for further support from donors, as these funds will enable more students from small communities to participate in the final event. There, they will connect with like-minded peers, enjoy shared experiences, exchange inspiration, and engage in workshops—creating lasting memories while supporting meaningful causes.
