With help from our fellows at the Savitri support center, working together with the District Legal Services Authority, children who had been excluded from school were finally given a chance to learn. Bharati, an eleven-year-old girl, and sixteen other students from a marginalized tribal community in Satara, Maharashtra, stepped through the school gates for the first time—a small step that meant hope, dignity, and the beginning of a brighter future.
