Rubina Khatun aged 35 years, lives near Balashi Ghat about15 km away from Karmirhath Hospital. Her husband is a poor agriculture labor They have three kids. The kids are all school-going.

Rubina developed diabetes a few years ago. Her husband could not manage any treatment for her illness. He did not dare take her to any doctor apprehending that it would be a very costly treatment!
