A Message from Balochistan

In the remote and forgotten corners of Balochistan, hunger is a daily struggle for countless orphaned and destitute children. Many of them go to sleep at night with empty stomachs, unsure if they will find a meal the next day. For these children, a simple plate of rice, a glass of milk, or a piece of bread is not taken for granted it is hope itself.

To respond to this heartbreaking reality, BRDP launched the “Help to Feed the Orphan and Poor Baloch Children” project. This initiative is more than just a food program it is a promise to these children that they are not invisible, and that kindness and compassion can reach even the most neglected places.

What We Have Achieved Together

Thanks to your generosity, we have raised $2,346 so far. While this is still a fraction of our ultimate goal of $35,000, your support has already brought warmth, dignity, and nourishment to over 60 orphaned and extremely poor children.

With the contributions received:

• We prepared and distributed nutritional food baskets filled with flour, rice, lentils, oil, milk, sugar, and other essentials.
• We reached families living in extreme poverty, verified by our field teams and community mobilizers.
• We ensured that children who often survive on scraps had meals to last them for several weeks.
• We captured smiles, words of gratitude, and stories of resilience from these children and their caregivers—moments that prove how deeply your support matters.

One mother in Quetta told us, “For weeks, I worried about how to feed my children. This basket is not just food—it is a blessing that gave me back my strength as a parent.”

The Challenges We Face

Our journey has not been easy. The need is far greater than what we can currently meet. Rising prices of food make every basket more expensive. Remote villages with poor roads and difficult terrain mean our teams often travel long hours to deliver aid. And for every child we feed, there are many more waiting, still hungry.

But these challenges also strengthen our resolve. Every obstacle reminds us that our mission is urgent and worth fighting for.

The Road Ahead

With your continued kindness, we are determined to:

• Expand our reach to the most underserved districts like Awaran, Washuk, Dera Bugti, and Kharan.
• Build stronger local partnerships so no child is left out.
• Establish sustained monthly food support for selected families when funding allows.
• Work tirelessly until no child in Balochistan has to sleep on an empty stomach.
