Help to Feed the Orphan and Poor Baloch Children

Introduction

The “Help to Feed the Orphan and Poor Baloch Children” project is an ongoing initiative hosted on the GlobalGiving online fundraising platform. The primary goal of this project is to raise $35,000 to provide essential food items to underprivileged and orphaned children in the Baloch community. To date, we have successfully raised $2,196, which has been utilized to purchase and distribute food items among these vulnerable children. The project remains active, and we continue to appeal for support to achieve our fundraising goal.

Project Objectives

1. To address food insecurity among orphaned and impoverished Baloch children.
2. To provide nutritious meals that support the physical and mental development of children.

As of now, the project has raised $2,196, which represents approximately 6.3% of the total fundraising goal. Despite limited funds, the impact achieved has been meaningful and tangible:

  • Purchased essential food items, including rice, lentils, cooking oil, flour, and other staples.
  • Distributed food packages to dozens of families, ensuring children received at least one nutritious meal per day.

• Community Support:

  • Brought relief to struggling families, helping them meet basic survival needs.
  • Strengthened community ties by fostering a sense of shared responsibility and care.

Challenges and Needs

1. Limited Funds:
   • While the funds raised so far have enabled initial distributions, a significant gap remains to achieve the project’s ultimate goal.
2. Increasing Demand:
   • The number of children in need continues to grow due to worsening socio-economic conditions in the region.

To sustain and expand the impact, additional funds are urgently needed to purchase larger quantities of food and to serve a greater number of children.

Future Plans
