The Bridge Fund sends you belated best wishes in the new year, with heartfelt thanks for your interest in our work and support to the Urgent Medical Fund that has reached inside Tibet to help those without hope of care.
These last months have been particularly tricky for communication with Tibetan communities. Predictable disruptions due to winter breaks and new year celebrations were complicated by other concerns and cautionary pauses. Even as we’ve started to receive updates from our Tibetan friends, we fear that in some cases critical needs have gone unaddressed too long. As we re-engage these communities, we can get more support out, enabling the administration of medical care to the most urgent cases.
The need is always beyond our capacity, and we join those this fund has reached in thanking you for your generosity and compassion.
