As we enter the New Year, we join our Tibetan friends who have received urgent medical care in expressing deep appreciation for the assistance made possible by compassionate individuals beyond Tibet. We can report that the last tranche of funds sent to Tibet covered a good portion of the cost of a 2-day ambulance journey that delivered a Tibetan nun from a remote nunnery to a modern hospital for neurosurgery. Friends at her bedside report that she is recovering well and her mind is fully functioning! The need continues and so does our resolve to help proide the urgent care that saves Tibetan lives!
