The help and support of Children’s Joy Foundation, INC. does not settle only on the repacking and distribution of relief goods to the Super typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) victims. Every day, while some volunteers distribute relief goods to the victims other volunteers cook hot meals and some travel around the typhoon-hit areas to different evacuation centers just to deliver hot meals (particularly hot porridge) to the survivors.
CJFI volunteers believe that this simple hot meal can temporarily fill their hunger while waiting for the next batch of goods sent are sent for their aid.
CJFI volunteers deliver hot meals on evacuation centers daily while distributing relief goods to survivors.
