Beside the urgent reconstruction projects that allowed the children of five communities to go back to school in safe and welcoming buildings, an important commitment of the Rava Foundation in the territories affected by the earthquake is to promote projects and activities in favor of communities.
In Pieve Torina the works for the community center and gymnasium will start soon. The village is one of the most severely affected by the earthquake, to create an aggregation point for the families taht still dwell in temporary woodden houses.
In Cascia the Foundation is promoting a revaluation and revitalization project of the city through a number of initiatives of urban regeneration. Next September in the main square a brand new playgarden for the kids will be inugurated, and the whole area will be revived by flower beds of roses, the flower symbol of the city and of Saint Rita, the patron saint of Cascia. A few areas of the town will be repainted and decorated. The goal is to revive tourism in the town, a destination of pilgrims devoted to the Saint.
Than you to help our unwavering efforts in supporting the families in Central Italy.
