The need is still present for additional funding for people with disabilities to be able to attend work programs and community inclusion programs. For many this is their first opportunity to be in a social setting since high school. When people with disabilities attend TVW programs they make friends and feel a sense of satisfaction from achieving a job and getting paid. For some people with disabilities, after high school there are no choices except to live in a group home or with family. People with disabilities deserve the right to fell valuable and a part of the community.
