In May, TVW partnered with the Hillsboro Police for their Shred-it event. Donations totaled almost $300.00 to go toward the bathroom remodel. Only $14K to go.
TVW continues to work with people to place them in community jobs and we are celebrating the success! Just in the past few weeks, 3 more people have gone to work in the community. New partnerships are forming with other non-profits and local businesses, including our fair city, Hillsboro.
June brought the 7th annual TVW tournament, which was again held at the Reserve. Approximately $25K was raised to help support TVW's innovative programs for all levels of disabled adults.
July brought the annual picnic and car show. Clients at TVW checked out over a dozen vintage cars and noshed on BBQ burgers, hotdogs and Rootbeer floats.
Next month, Intel will be helping finish the painting at TVW. They will be bringing over 20 volunteers to help out for the day. TVW is very grateful for this amazing opportunity to partner with an outstanding company in our community.
