Dear friends,
Due to changes in clearing customs in Haiti, we are going to suspend this project to help send a container of medical supplies to Haiti.
We have shipped fifteen 40 foot shipping containers to Haiti, and coordinated dozens of other containers and shipments for partners. However, it has become increasingly expensive to clear customs, despite that most of these shipments are directly donated to the Haitian public health system.
We are exploring obtaining clearance for shipments through a grant making agency: if this is successful we will be able to continue to send containers.
In the meantime, you can continue to support our work by donating equipment and supplies or by learning about our new campaign to Make Births Safe in Haiti.
