Hi all,
We sent our 15th container of medical supplies from Maine to Haiti this summer. This container included over $400,000 worth of medicines,1,000+ birthing kits, an anesthesia machine, infant incubators, and hundreds of boxes of biomedical equipment and hospital supplies.
We are collecting supplies locally to prepare for sending a container of medical supplies in 2014. Our past funding to assist in paying for containers has disappeared. This is why this campaign is so important- if we can raise the money to send a container, hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment, supplies and medicines reach Haiti that otherwise cannot. These supplies go directly to the Justinien University Hospital in Cap- Haitien, the second largest public hospital in Haiti.
You can contact us with any questions, concerns or equipment donations. You can further explore the process for donating equipment and supplies at our website.
