Imi Oughlad Primary School is at the heart of the village community. This week, the diggers moved in to start to repair the extensive damage caused by the earthquake. Your support has made this possible. Thank you for trusting in us to steward funds towards vital education restoration projects like this one.
“Your donations are more than material goods, they embody compassion and unity, serving as a reminder that we’re not alone in our journey towards recovery.” – Driss, Imi Oughlad resident.
Re-opening local schools such as this one is essential if we are to bring down dropout rates so that children stay in school longer and their life chances are improved. As soon as the project was authorised, the diggers were on site and construction got underway.
This project has been a catalyst for other rebuild projects and we are humbled by the many individuals who went the extra mile to support our appeal. Once rebuilt, the school will provide a safe, bright and healthy environment for young learners.
Thank you.
