The most significant part of the programmes is the involvement of Government officers of the District Child Protection Unit, advocates and students of social work.
Government, SDG and Children
With the Government personnel it is becoming increasing important to orient them about the NGO interventions in upholding the rights of the children in the light of SDGs-Sustainable Development Goals. Keeping this in mind three workshops were conducted in the following districts Kalburgi (22 Feb); Gadag (23-26 Feb), Belagavi (3 Feb) and Haveri (16 March) reaching out to about 450 personnel. There is more demands for such workshops.
We are going strong with the reach and are looking out to have a sepearate project proposal to conduct SDG trainings in the state. The demand is to reach out to the block / taluk level.
