The programme was held at ISD, CODP, Padavu, Mangaluru in collaboration with PADI, Mangaluru an NGO working on child rights and specifically on child education issues. The programme was inaugurated by Justice Kadaluru Sathyanarayanacharya, Chief Judicial and Sessions Judge, Dakshina Kannada. The two days programme, as shared by the participants helped them to get a clear idea about child rights beyond survival, protection, development and participation rights of children. They could also relate with various programmes and projects of the Govt and international agencies. The participants said that they would go back to their organisations and disseminate the learning.
The programme ended with a group game that lead to a commitment statement to uphold the rights of all children. Each participant was given a participation certificate appreciating their efforts, interest in upholding rights of children. The participants thanked all the donors who have contributed to make this series of programmes a possibility through GlobalGiving and ImpactGuru platforms.
The next programme will be held at Mandya on 18th and 19th Sept. 2018
