Seeking Funding for Phase 2

By Constance Hunt | Executive Director

Dear Donors:

With phase one of our projct complete, we are now looking for funding for the project's second phase. In this phase, we plan to increase the value of the project by completing construction of an upper floor eating and meeting space, building a filter system to clean the liquid effluent from the biodigester so that it can be safely discharged into storm water drains rather than mechanically exhausted, adding an outside washing area where people can wash clothes and utensils, building a security fence around the project to protect it from flying projectiles (soccer balls) and repainting the project exterior.

Phase 2 will cost Ksh3,241,657, or about US$43,222. Our full proposal to the Embassy of Finland, which provided most of the fund for the first phase of the project, is attached for more information.

Thanks again for your support!
