With great joy and pride we want to introduce Eulalia Piragui, a student who graduated from the Mbaracajú Girls School in 2011, and is currently pursuing her second year of university studies to get a teaching degree with the support of our wonderful donors!
Eulalia is one of many Ache students that the Mbaracajú School has been fortunate to serve. She attends a local Institute in Villa Ygatimí, and has proven to have excellent teaching skills as she is already working as a pre-school teacher at a school in the Aché Community of Arroyo Bandera (an indigenous community near the Mbaracayú Reserve). This position allows her to practice and improve her teaching skills.
This is a great achievement for the Mbaracayú Educational Center and for women of the Aché Community in Arroyo Bandera. Thanks to the opportunity to study, and because of her determination and hard effort, Eulalia is already fulfilling her goals of teaching and living her dream of giving back to her community. She is a mother of two beautiful children, a boy and a girl, one of whom, Mary Esther, spent time with her mother while attending the Mbaracajú school which allowed Eulalia to complete her high school diploma in 2011, and has now allowed her to continue her studies and become a teacher in her community.
There is no doubt that your support for students from the Mbaracajú School, and especially for indigenous women students represents a big jump in their lives, a unique opportunity to improve their quality of life and a build better future for themselves and their children.
Thank you!
