Dear Donor,

Thank you so much for your unwavering commitment to making a difference. Your donation has not only filled empty stomachs but has also sparked a flame of hope in the hearts of many, reminding them that they are not alone in their struggles.

Every donation made represents a life touched, a smile restored, and a step taken towards a world where hunger is but a distant memory. On behalf of the family whose burden you have lightened, every child whose laughter you have brought back, and every dream you have reignited, we extend our deepest gratitude.

On wednesday (June 12), we were able to use the funds received through this project, to support Mercy, a 23-year-old young vulnerable widow and an orphan in Nnewi, Anambra State.

Mercy's husband died last year, leaving their two children behind for her to take care of. They use to feed from hand to mouth when the husband was alive, talk more of now that he's dead, as he's the one providing for the family.

We learnt that the petty business of selling some food items which she was doing before, was sponsored by the husband, but she couldn't continue now with it as a result of lack of funds. She's now selling roasted corn on the roadside, in order to make a living and be able to take care of herself and her two children.

Mercy is really grateful and happy for this great support given to her. During our discussion with her, she noted that she doesn't have a bank account, as she doesn't have much money on her always. We've also taken it upon ourselves to open a bank account for her, where she can deposit the money given to her for safety purpose, instead of keeping it at home.

As this project continues to receive more donations, we'll continue supporting her and other indigent families, to grow this business and also go back to her previous business or start a new one, when this season of corn harvesting ends. Your support is not just appreciated, it is cherished, celebrated, and remembered in every meal shared.

Thanks a lot, remain greatly favored and blessed in all your endeavors and please continue to stay engaged with us.

Best regards.
