More than 609,000 people in Ukraine are living with dementia, and the war is accelerating cognitive decline through chronic stress, displacement, trauma, and disrupted healthcare. Families are left without the support they desperately need. Nezabutni is the only nonprofit organization in Ukraine dedicated to supporting people with dementia and their caregivers. Your donation provides medical, psychological, and social support while helping us build Ukraine's first dementia care system.
There are almost no specialized dementia services available in Ukraine today. Around one million family caregivers are struggling too. Our latest research found that over 75% of caregivers feel exhausted before the day even begins, 82% experience chronic sleep disturbances, and average stress levels reach 4.24 out of 5. Families are facing dementia and war at the same time. Your gift helps us provide life-changing support, expert guidance, education, and hope when it is needed most
Monthly support of Global Giving donators will help to provide people with dementia in Ukraine and their informal carers as well as neuropsychological and geriatric institutions with the required assistance.
Our charity foundation cooperates with state medical institutions and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on projects devoted to the dementia problem in Ukraine. Thanks to the help this cooperation will help us to react to challenges in even more effective way. Also, a regular support will helps us to provide help by individual requests. With your help, we can make lives of people with dementia and their informal carers more comfortable and less stressful.
