As armed conflict intensifies in Yemen, more families are being forced from their homes with little access to food, safe water, medicine, or basic necessities, making immediate assistance critical. Accept International will provide emergency medical care, essential medicines, hygiene supplies, food, safe water, and household kits to displaced families in Taiz and Aden. Drawing on our experience in frontline areas, we will help protect their lives and support them as they begin to rebuild.
After more than a decade of conflict, Yemen remains one of the world's gravest humanitarian crises.According to IOM, 134,550 people had been displaced by the escalation along Yemen's west coast as of 23 September 2026. International tensions are adding to the risks facing Yemen as its armed conflict intensifies. Some families remain displaced within Taiz, while others have fled to Aden and elsewhere. Many lack food, safe water, medicine, and shelter and need assistance now.
Your support will provide displaced families with primary medical care and essential medicines, including antibiotics, oral rehydration solution, and skin ointments, as well as hygiene supplies, food, and safe water. Emergency kits with warm blankets, thick sleeping mats, cooking sets, and solar lights will help families live more safely and with dignity. We will draw on our access to frontline areas and experience in humanitarian aid and peacebuilding to deliver this support in Taiz and Aden.
Timely humanitarian aid can ease suffering and help displaced families rebuild. Since 2021, Accept International has supported people affected by conflict in Yemen, including former Houthi combatants who became involved under different circumstances. Where safe and appropriate, we will explore working with former combatants who share the desire to help people in their communities, so that our relief efforts can also help rebuild trust amid escalating conflict.
