Dear Donors,
Thank you for your kindness and support toward the Help Nigerian Children in Slums Play Football project. Your generosity gives hope to children living in underserved communities who dream of playing football in a safe and organized environment.
While we are grateful for the donations received so far, the available funds are still not enough to begin the first phase of the project. More support is needed to enable us purchase football kits, footballs, jerseys, boots, training equipment, and organize the six planned community football clubs.
Many children living in Nigerian slums continue to face daily exposure to crime, drug abuse, gang activities, and other unsafe influences. After school hours, most have few positive recreational opportunities available to them. Although football remains one of the most loved sports among these children, many cannot afford even the most basic equipment needed to participate.
This project aims to establish six community football clubs across underserved areas, providing children with football kits, regular training sessions, mentorship, and opportunities to participate in friendly matches and tournaments. The clubs will create safe spaces where children can build friendships, learn discipline, develop teamwork skills, and remain engaged in positive activities.
We remain hopeful that additional donations will help us begin implementation soon. In future reports, we look forward to sharing updates, photos, and stories from the first beneficiaries and participating football clubs.
Thank you once again for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
