Bangladesh experiences a harsh winter season that poses significant challenges to its population. The most vulnerable, particularly those residing in urban and coastal areas, often face acute hardships due to inadequate access to warm clothing and blankets.
To address this pressing issue, our organization undertook a winter relief initiative focused on providing essential winter supplies to impoverished families. During the previous winter, a distribution of blankets was carried out in the Mirpur and Uttara areas of Dhaka, benefiting approximately 240 individuals from 100 families.
In addition to these efforts, our winter blanket distribution program extended to marginalized communities in other urban centers across Bangladesh. A total of 100 families received support through this initiative.
We believe that expanding this vital program is essential to mitigating the suffering caused by winter's cold. Your generous support will enable us to reach a greater number of beneficiaries and make a lasting impact on their lives.
