Dear members, friends and supporters of the Female empowerment project,
a big HELLO from Namibia's capital Windhoek, which is currently draped in purple because the jacaranda tree has blossomed in full glory.
The Female Empowerment Project continues to go well, and the reusable sanitary pads are becoming more accepted in the community. We are currently collecting feedback to improve the pads and make them as safe and comfortable as possible.
Attached a few pictures of what the reusable sanitary pads look like. One little bag contains five sanitary towels.
We look forward to update you on the progress of the project in the next report in three months.
Sunny greetings from Windhoke
Lena Palm and Miriam Faust
