A total of sixty-five (65) young lives were impacted in various ways this quarter. Nine (9) youth ages 2 to 18 years, received diagnostic tests and pre-op care in Kenya and were accompanied by THAP personnel during their travel to receive corrective heart surgeries at Apollo Children’s Hospital in Chennai India. Surgeons at Apollo Hospital were able to perform complicated procedures to restore healthy hearts to these patients so they could have positive prognoses for a better life. These patients are back in Kenya and doing very well.
Fifty-six (56) other children and families received critical services and support for healthier lives during the quarter which included Echograms 5; Medicine 25; Review 12; and Accommodation at THAP Family Support Center 14.
THAP and CAC embrace these ongoing successes to press forward in our quest to help other children and families in Kenya that need corrective heart surgeries. We appreciate the gifts and support of partners and donors which help us accomplish THAP’s mission. Thank you.
