The months of April to June were busy for Take Heart Association Project (THAP) and brought about happy hearts for three surgical patients and the many families helped during this period. Patients Abe and May accompanied by family members traveled from Kenya to Fortis Malar Hospital in Chennai India in late April and patient Jundo visited in June for corrective heart surgeries. All three surgical procedures were successful and these patients are back in Kenya and continuing the recovery process. THAP is currently finalizing arrangements for three more patients to visit India to receive corrective surgeries in the coming months.
Sixty-one other children and families were assisted by THAP during April to June as follows:
Echograms –4, Review – 14, ECG -2, X-Ray – 1, Medicine – 22, Other Tests -2,
Accommodation at THAP Family Support Center – 16
CAC and THAP offer sincere thanks for your continued patronage in helping us change the lives of many deserving children and families. We cannot do this great work without your continued support.
