After the hustle and bustle of the holiday season things have quieted down for the first time this quarter. The hearts of our seven previous surgery recipients are continuing to heal because of your gracious donations. Everyone is doing just fine.
Once again your donations allowed us to help two more patients in March. Patients, Mag4 and Wang1 received corrective heart surgeries at the Fortis Malar Hospital in Chennai India. Doctors have confirmed that both children are recovering well. They have returned to Kenya and resting at home.
Thirty-two (32) other children and families got much needed help during this quarter as shown below:
Echograms –1, Medicine –1, ECG -1, Other Tests –6, CAT –1, Review –1, X-Ray -13, Travel Aide -2, Accommodation at THAP Family Support Center –6,
CAC and THAP continue to forge ahead with increased services for children and families in Kenya. We are currently prepping three patients to travel to India for surgeries in May and June 2014. Partnerships and support from benefactors are pertinent to growth in our organizations so we endeavor to institute these bonds daily. We thank all supporters for your continued interest gifts to this cause which impacts the lives of deserving children and families.
