Last quarter we told you about the 70 patients and their families that were helped.  Well, we have done it again.  This period thanks to your continued support and generous donations, Take Heart Association Project (THAP) has helped 60 young patients receive procedures to correct various heart ailments that promise longer life and brighter futures.  Two patients had corrective heart surgeries at Tenwek Hospital in Bomet Kenya in June 2019. Fil and Muchi needed surgical interventions to correct heart anomalies of stenosis, and atresia of the valves.

Fifty-eight (58) other patients received various services and support that included: 16 youth ages 3 to 18 years, got diagnostic tests and reviews; and 42 children and their families received accommodation, medication, and support for healthier lives through our Family Support Centre services in Kenya. THAP also got 21 new cases.

THAP USA Chairman Solomon Musimy Esq., visited Kenya and hosted a series of collaborative workshops aimed at extending partnerships. Mr. Musimy also visited THAP Family Support Center in May and June.  Board Member, Kae Dakins and her family visited THAP Family Support Center in June.

THAP successes provide joyful moments for patients, and encouragement for THAP and CAC to carry on this important work and mission. Thank you.
