Xi-Xi is a sweet and talkative girl. After more than 520 days of waiting, she finally found her loving parents.
Xi-Xi’s birth family had many children, and it was always very lively. Her biological mother wanted to take care of everyone, but gradually became physically and mentally exhausted. She was concerned that she wouldn’t be able to continue providing stable care for Xi-Xi, so she contacted a social worker from the Child Welfare League Foundation (CWLF). After several discussions and assessments, it was decided to place Xi-Xi in a safer and more stable environment, where she could grow up healthy and happy.
Before meeting Xi-Xi’s new parents, she had already seen pictures of them and their home in a photo book. Her new parents even gave her a singing doll, which she loved. Xi-Xi is a friendly girl. When she met her kind new parents, she quickly warmed up to them and started playing with them.
On her first night at the new home, her new parents noticed that Xi-Xi had a habit of rubbing her fingers together, possibly because she felt a bit nervous or anxious. However, with the comforting presence of her favorite elephant toy, which she usually sleeps with, and her new parents’ gentle reassurance, she quickly fell asleep. Now, every morning when Xi-Xi wakes up, her new parents are there to accompany her. The family also has a cute cat, and Xi-Xi loves to say good morning and good night to the cat!

The Child Welfare League Foundation has been providing both domestic and international adoption services for nearly 32 years and have helped over 1,200 children find theirsuitable adoptive family.
Currently, 40 children are still seeking a permanent home. We thank all the donors, and the Child Welfare League Foundation continues to improve our adoption services, hoping that every child can have a secure, warm, and stable home.
