Baby Silvija
As always, Silvija's family, who is being treated for eye cancer, returned with good news from Lausanne, Switzerland. This was her 20th trip.
"The trip went smoothly, Silvija is very actively interested in the world around her, despite strangers, she asks to be picked up, so the trip was really intense and tiring," - recalls her mother Ieva.
The woman was pleased that they are always greeted by a good-natured staff at the eye clinic.
"Before the fundus examination, an eye vision test was also performed, and the doctors are monitoring positive progress. After the examination, the news is good - the situation is stable. The next visit is scheduled in 4-5 weeks. Although treatment is not currently being applied, Silvija still needs intensive monitoring, so as soon as I can breathe after one trip, I have to prepare for the next one," shares the girl's mother.
