Outright International is a leading international human rights organization dedicated to improving the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ) people without fear of persecution, violence or discrimination. Outright strengthens the capacity of the LGBTIQ movement worldwide, documents human rights violations against LGBTIQ people and advocates for the human rights and equality of LGBTIQ people worldwide.
Worldwide, LGBTIQ people continue to face harassment, violence and even death for loving who we love, and being the gender we are. Outright works with LGBTIQ organizations across the world to promote LGBTIQ equality everywhere. While our movement is making meaningful progress in places like Namibia, Taiwan and Spain, much more must be done. From violent persecution in Afghanistan to legislative oppression in Uganda, our LGBTIQ communities across the globe are confronting a storm of adversity.
