Millions of people in Nigeria and other African countries still face poor access to healthcare, digital tools, medical information, and health technology training. This project will help launch a Digital Health Innovation Centre that will train young people, medical personnel, and community workers in digital health and artificial intelligence for healthcare. The centre will also support telemedicine, health research, internet access, & practical technology programs that'll improve healthcare.
Healthcare workers, students, and young people in Nigeria lack access to digital health training, reliable internet, modern medical technology, & practical artificial intelligence education. Rural & underserved communities are still affected by poor access to telemedicine, digital patient systems, and online health services. Many health facilities also struggle with unstable electricity, limited digital tools, & inadequate technology training, making healthcare delivery slower & less effective.
This project will establish a Digital Health Innovation Centre that provides digital health training, artificial intelligence education, internet access, telemedicine support, and practical technology skills for healthcare workers and young people. The centre will also provide computers, solar power, and learning equipment that will help underserved communities improve healthcare access, digital literacy, and medical service delivery.
The Digital Health Innovation Centre will help build a new generation of healthcare workers and young innovators with practical digital health and artificial intelligence skills. It can improve access to telemedicine, support health research, strengthen healthcare delivery in underserved communities, and create learning and job opportunities for young people across Nigeria and other African countries.
