Millions of children in Nigeria have little or no access to digital skills, limiting their future career options in a technology-driven world. Through this project, Clarion Times Foundation, in partnership with Kadnetworks Limited, will provide coding training, mentorship, and practical learning opportunities for children. The project will help young learners gain valuable technology skills, build confidence, and prepare for future education and employment opportunities.
Many children in underserved communities lack access to technology education and have little opportunity to develop digital skills. This project will provide coding classes, computer training, mentorship, and practical technology workshops for children. Participants will learn skills such as programming, web development, and digital literacy to help them prepare for future studies, entrepreneurship, and employment in an increasingly digital world.
The project will organize coding and digital skills training for children in underserved communities and provide access to computers, learning materials, internet connectivity, and mentorship. Participants will receive hands-on instruction in programming, web development, digital literacy, and technology problem-solving. Through practical projects and guided learning, children will gain skills that can improve their educational performance and expand future career and income opportunities.
The project will equip children with valuable digital and coding skills that can support future education, employment, entrepreneurship, and innovation. As participants gain productive skills and positive mentorship, they will be more likely to stay engaged in learning and less likely to be drawn into crime, gang activity, substance abuse, or other harmful behaviors. The project will help build a generation of skilled, responsible, and economically productive young people.
