Dear friends and supporters,

We hope this update finds you well.

Every donation, every share, and every kind message reminds us that people around the world believe in creating safer communities. Thank you for standing with us and helping move this project forward.

Working in Botswana's remote wilderness is incredibly rewarding, but it also comes with real risks. Our team spends long days in elephant habitat, travels on isolated roads, works with schools and communities far from medical facilities, and often operate where professional medical assistance can take hours to arrive.

In these moments, first aid is more than a useful skill; it can be the difference betweeen staying calm in an emergency and loosing precious time when every minute matters.

While we haven't yet reached the funding needed to begin our certified first aid trainin, the need has only grown. Every field activity, community outreach event, and research expidition reminds us how important it is for our staff to be prepared to respond confidently until professional medical help arrives.

The training we're raising funds for will equip our team with practical, life-saving skills to respond to injuries, sudden illnesses, snakebite incidents, vehicle accidents, heat-related emergencies, and other situations that can happen while working in remote areas. These are not unlikely scenarios, they are realities of working in the bush.

When our team is trained, the benefits extend far beyond our staff. We are better able to support visiting researchers, volunteers, local schools, community members, and everyone who joins us in protecting Botswana's wildlife.

If you are able, please consider making a donation or sharing our campaign with friends, family, or colleagues who care about conservation and community safety. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to ensuring our team has the skills they need when emergencies happen.

Thank you for believing in our work and for helping us protect both people and wildlife.

With gratitude,
The EfA Team
