Dear friends and supporters,
Working in Botswana's remote wilderness means embracing both beauty and risk. At Elephants for Africa, our team operates daily in elephant habitat, navigates challenging 4x4 terrain, and works far from the nearest medical facility. In this environment, emergencies are not a matter of if, but when.
Our goal is straightforward: equip our staff with certified first aid training so they can respond quickly and confidently before professional medical care can reach them. Whether in camp, during field research, or while delivering education programmes in remote communities, these skills could be the difference between a manageable crisis and a tragedy.
The need hasn't diminished. Each field season and community event reinforces how essential this training is for our staff, visiting researchers, students, and the communities we work alongside. We have identified a trusted provider and are ready to move forward. We just need to cross the finish line.
By contributing to this campaign, you are directly investing in the safety of a team dedicated to protecting Botswana's elephants and supporting the people who live alongside them.
Please donate or share our project. Your support means that when an emergency happens in the bush, we are ready.
With gratitude,
The Elephants for Africa Team
