This is our first project update, and I want to begin with the most important thing: thank you. Your support helps us move forward with a documentary that preserves one of the most powerful human rights victories in Argentina’s recent history: the fight for legal abortion.

The Green Wave was not only a law. It was decades of organizing, courage, legal work, street mobilization, and collective hope. It was thousands of people refusing to accept silence as the answer. And today, when reproductive rights are under attack in so many places, this story matters more than ever.

The documentary is already underway. Pre-production and script development have been completed, and the first shooting stage has already taken place, including interviews with 10 historic activists and human rights voices who were part of this struggle.

Now we are working toward the next stages: additional filming, editing, post-production, launch, festivals, press outreach, and international distribution.

Your support helps make sure this story does not stay only in Argentina. It can travel. It can reach new audiences. It can inspire activists, organizations, and movements in other countries that are fighting for dignity, freedom, and reproductive rights.

Because memory is not nostalgia. Memory can be a tool.

A young activist can watch this documentary and understand that change is possible. A movement in another country can recognize a strategy it can adapt. A person who feels alone can discover that they are part of a much bigger history.

The Green Wave changed Argentina. Now we want to help carry that proof to the next country, the next movement, and the next generation.
