Heather's husband gave her permission to spend Christmas with her family in the USA with her sons Mason & Liam as long as she returned to Germany by January 1st.
When Heather called us she was desperate to stay in the USA with her sons. She recounted horrible abuse by her husband in Germany. Heather had a police report and a medical report from when her husband got violent and and pushed her to the ground when she was holding Liam. Liam hit his head on the floor. Her husband told the police Heather had tripped and fallen over. Heather told the police the truth. Unfortunately, the police in Germany considered it a "he said, she said" situation and no charges were filed.
Heather knew if she didn't go back her abusive husband would file a Hague Petition to try to force her to return the boys to Germany.
We were able to get Heather an attorney because of donations like yours. When her abusive husband filed a Hague Petition when Heather didn't return to Germany, her attorney was ready to fight.
Heather's abusive husband dropped the Hague Petition and agreed to let Heather live in the USA with the boys after Heather's attorney uncovered more nefarious information about her abuser.
Today Mason, Liam and Heather are living happily in the USA! Than you for caring about battered mothers who need help to keep their children safe at home.
