Global Giving Project Report from CHEDRA. October 25th, 2013
Project Name: Help Keep 50 Vulnerable Ugandan Children in School
Dear CHEDRA and Bugabira School supporters,
CHEDRA would like to thank all of you for your generous support throughout the July to Aug Sept 2013.We successfully managed to raise US$270 from you our kind donors, and we are grateful for that CHEDRA will continue working to support the community especially Bugabira primary school.
Use of the Global Giving Funds
UGX 450,000 was used to purchase three complete beddings for three children (Maurine Primary three, Wendy Middle class and Dorcus, Primary 1) who are in boarding section and each child was able to get abed, mattress and bed sheets. Amazing!
A total of UGX 120,000 was used to purchase school uniforms and six children managed to receive free school uniform, they now feel happy to be part of the school community .This is because of your endless love and support.
Other funds UGX133, 000 were used to buy scholastic materials for the children in school that is books, pens and pencils. Thirteen dozens of books were bought and children managed to receive books for full term, pencils and pens as well.
Well as the Bugabira School has a commitment to never turn away students from class and will use the availed Funds to provide short-term relief to needy children, your support has far reaching effects. The supported children will continue to live happy lives during their childhood since they will be able to receive education and other school requirements. The parents will also have hope for the future since their children are able to receive education.
Thank you again for your donations to the Global Giving. If you have any questions, ideas and suggestions about how best to help people in Masaka, or about the use of the funds, please contact the Program Coordinator Kigozi Moses (chedramasaka@gmail.com) Tel: +256 776 512 227
Kind regards,
The CHEDRA team
