By Jennifer Burnham | Coordinator, Homeless Diamonds Magazine
Our new issue 26 of Homeless Diamonds magazine was launched in King’s Cross on 2 April 2015 and will be available to view on-line later in the month.
As we approach our 10th anniversary we are touched by how many people who have contributed to the magazine at some point in their/our lives have come back to support and inspire those joining us for the first time.
Someone who contributed to our early issues, after unimaginable difficulties, is now studying at Cambridge University and she stopped in to see us at King’s Cross on her way there. She told us Homeless Diamonds deserved credit for helping her get where she is now - her experience with us gave her the hope and confidence she needed to face the obstacles ahead of her. People are helped in many ways by this opportunity to find their voice and their confidence in it. We are now planning a celebration for our 10th anniversary next year, when we hope some of our donors will join us and hear first hand the stories of our contributors old and new.
