Get masks and other lifesaving medical supplies deliver their ARVs medication, food supplements and essential items to struggling families and rural lgbtq individuals in quarantined towns and camps, support hygiene awareness efforts, as the situation evolves, the fund will transition to support longer-term recovery and education efforts.
Prevention of diseases is one of the cores to our work - we have been responding to HIV in rural Uganda. Like in other disease responses, we designed a peer approach program that aims to not only provide immediate relief, but also build the capacity of HIV positive patients to respond to future outbreaks.
