Who hasn't daydreamed at some point?
We have all at one time or another dreamed about our future, imagining what some aspect of our life would be like, and we don't turn back until we achieve our heart's desires.
This is the case of Brevelyn, a 13 year-old girl; dreamer, friendly, and very perseverant. Her greatest desire is to finish her studies with excellence and find a job that will allow her to help her mother financially. In particular, she wants her younger siblings to have more opportunities to study, as she had, thanks to the support of the 'Scholarship Project'.
Brevelyn joined at the age of 9, in the fourth grade, when she was a shy and uninvolved child. At the beginning of the Project's trainings, the girl did not talk to any of her classmates, but as time went by, she was included in activities and, little by little, Brevelyn overcame her shyness.
The girl's mother is the one who encourages her, supports her and, above all, provides for her to continue her studies. At the beginning of the year, Brevelyn did not want to study high school, since she saw all the efforts her mother made to give her the opportunity to study, and the girl's desire was to help her to reduce her work.
Knowing this situation, the 'Scholarship Project' support her with school supplies so that the girl didn’t have difficulties in the delivery of her homework.
She is currently in the 1st year of high school, has improved her responsibility in handing in her homework and has a good friendship with all the girls in her grade. This is largely due to the training she has received. She has been told about the importance of forming good friendships, living values, and education as a basis for success in life.
