Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your interest in the Help Girls in School Get Reusable Sanitary Pads project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned distribution of sanitary pads has not yet begun.
Across many urban slum communities in Abuja, schoolgirls continue to face difficulty managing their menstrual health due to lack of affordable sanitary products. Many are forced to use unsafe alternatives, which can lead to infections and discomfort.
As a result, girls often miss classes every month, affecting their learning and increasing the risk of dropping out of school. This challenge continues to limit their ability to stay in school and succeed academically.
This project is designed to provide 2,500 schoolgirls with reusable sanitary pads that can last for years, along with basic training on menstrual hygiene. This support will help girls manage their cycles safely and attend school without interruption.
With the right support, more girls can stay in class, protect their health, and continue their education with confidence.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this project can begin and reach girls who need this support.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
