The Afghan school year started in April and the staff are awarding the scholarships to needy students. The young people are delighted to get this sort of help with the costs of school. Many would have to consider leaving the school without this support.
Amena said, " I am one of the eleventh class students who has been given a scholarship. I am proud to have started at the school four years ago as it provides the best level of education available along with great classes of singing, leadership, library, laboratory and the sport field. I am also a member of the leadership class where I have learned great leadership principles like planning, reading and many other essential skills.The scholarship means I can do my studies for free thanks to Professor Sakena Yaccobi, I also won one of the gold medal from gold medal award ceremony which was such a great thing for me and my family."
