Today is Giving Tuesday! $150,000 in Matching funds are available for donations made to ALL Creating Hope International projects on GlobalGiving.
This campaign has proportional matching which ensures all projects receive some extra funds. New recurring donations set up today (active for 4 months) get up to US $200 per donor per organization matched at 100% (on the first month's gift).

CHI provides scholarships to students attending private schools in Herat and Kabul. The program also gives scholarships to students at universities in the two cities.
The university scholarships usually last between 12 and 22 months with some as long as 40 months. Currently there are 4 Herat based students (3 female) attending 4 different universities and 4 Kabul based students (2 female) at 4 universities in that city.
The Herat students are studying computer science and literature, management, economics and management and computer science. A couple of these students are also employees of the Afghan Institute of Learning. The Kabul students are studying for degrees in law and political science, law, and economics.
