Dear People...Dear Animal Lovers...Dear Supporters.
Namaste'. I bow to your Innermost Selves.
These are still difficult times in our Beloved World.
We can do our share in uplifting things by going inside and uplifting our own innerstate. And then projecting our higher state outwards to be spread by Innerconnectedness.

This Report, like many of the others, gives an overview of the energy our Work has generated to lift suffering from the Animal Realm. And if the Heart truly opens to the animals, it has an impact on the Human Population, too, thru them being nicer to each other. It's simply the nature of the Heart.
Below are our STATISTICS SINCE OPENING JAN.2007 THRU DEC.2025
More recently---Our STATISTICS FOR THE FIRST TWO QUARTERS OF 2026--JANUARY THRU JUNE.
MONTHLY (these figures are current), We:
===================================================
When we first opened in January 2007, the "animal situation" was really bad. The growth of the homeless dog population was out of control. There was no small animal vet within 60 kms. No treatment facility. Rabies. And widespread abuse. There were 350 suffering and dying animals on the streets--mostly dogs and puppies, but others too--monkeys, cows, squirrels, peacocks, etc. It was awful!
Things are good now. Very good. Thank you, God. Thank you, Staff.
The care of the Homeless Animals (I'M PRIMARILY TALKING ABOUT OUR 9,000 HOMELESS DOGS) depends on their relationship with the people amongst whom they live day in, day out. If that relationship is not good, they receive no real caring, no protection when they are in harm's way. They have no reliable food source, and no supportive energy as they live their lives. If that relationship must be uplifted, it's not easy to do! What we're really talking about is opening the Community's Heart to the animals.
THANKFULLY, the homeless animals in Tiru are cared for beautifully..
MANY SAY THEY HAVE NEVER, IN INDIA, SEEN PEOPLE SO CARING FOR HOMELESS ANIMALS--AND THE ANIMALS SO OPEN TO PEOPLE- AS ON THE STREETS OF TIRUVANNAMALAI.
This is truly meaningful and significant. I regularly ask Vishwa about it. And he assures me that it is profoundly visible.
We've put in much energy and love to make this come about.
PLEASE...BLESS US...BLESS US...BLESS US!

Sometimes, when animal lovers are visiting the Shelter for the first time, I tell them to close their eyes for a minute and just experience the quiet energy. I tell them that the softness, the quietness they're experiencing is Grace. And that it is within that field of Grace that everything is unfolding.
The dogs and puppies are not kept in cages, but run free and are happy.

The Shakti sent two incredible Beings to do this Work--DR.RAJA, PRESIDENT, TRUSTEE--AND VISHWA, DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS. I've known many fine, fine people in my long years, but these guys are beyond the beyond. They're running our beloved Shelter beautifully, and it's stronger than it's ever been. They are no longer my students. They are on "their own legs", moving with their own strengths, and have taken things beyond where I could have gotten them, even in my prime. I'm humbled by them and sometimes have to remind myself of my own role.
In the first years, I remember, we often moved thru darkness, traversing incredibly difficult terrain. "What", one might ask, "are the qualities that enable one to move thru these spaces?" I think the main ones, the ones that must run deep, deep, deep...are earnestness and perseverance.

Here are some Rescue Stories from Vishwa to warm your Heart.

This brings us to the end of the Report.
Blessings. Blessings. And, Blessings on all of us.
As in previous Reports, I've included a collection of photos--some new, some old...Enjoy.
PLEASE...REMEMBER...DONATIONS.
THE PRECIOUS ONES NEED US...AND WE NEED YOU!
RECURRING DONATIONS, EVEN QUITE MODEST ONES, ARE BEST FOR US.
GOING FORWARD WE HAVE TO INCREASE OUR SUPPORT...IF YOU'RE ABLE TO BRING IN NEW SUPPORTERS THAT WOULD REALLY HELP...OM NAMAH SHIVAYA.

Until next time, sending Wishes for all things Good,
From all of us...me, Dr. Raja, Vishwa, the Staff...and of course, The Precious Ones.
