This time of year is really hard for many people, and dealing with a personal disaster during the holidays is especially difficult. Your donations have gone to help families during this difficult time. Children will be supplied with backpacks and supplies and families are being assisted with clean up and rebuilding with the assistance of our partners.
One of our youth volunteers who collects bears and other stuffed animals for children affected by disaster is making a trip to Texas, to distribute and to a yoga session for the children. This young volunteer, who home schools and has the support of her family will also be distributing to South Carolina.
This flood was termed 1 in 1000 year event, with enough water to fill the Rose Bowl to the top 65,000 times over. The flooding and damage is extensive, it's said to be a billion dollars in damages, and the severe weather is not done. please continue to support this project by inviting your friends to help.
