Help for Flood Victims in Juiz de Fora and Uba

We would like to begin by expressing our deepest gratitude for your support through the Brazil Flood Emergency Relief, and especially for the speed of your response. Your contribution made it possible for us to act quickly in a moment of urgent need.

Thanks to this collective effort, today we were able to reach and support hundreds of people in the regions most affected across the country. Each donation translated directly into relief, dignity, and care for families facing extremely challenging circumstances.

With the resources received, we distributed essential supplies, including:

• More than 5,000 liters of drinking water

• Over 2,000 personal hygiene items, including toothbrushes, sanitary pads, soap, and toothpaste

• More than 2,000 kg of food, such as biscuits, pasta, beans, flour, salt, and sugar

• More than 500 diapers for children and adults

• 300 liters of detergent

• 100 brooms and 100 floor squeegees

• 120 cleaning sponges

• Garbage bags for waste management and sanitation

• 1,500 liters of bleach (disinfectant)

These items were carefully organized and delivered to ensure immediate impact in the affected communities, supporting both basic needs and sanitary conditions during this critical time.

Looking ahead, with the remaining resources, we are now beginning to design and implement socio-emotional recovery programs, similar to those successfully carried out in 2024 and 2025. These initiatives will focus especially on young people affected by the crisis, providing support, rebuilding resilience, and creating safe spaces for recovery and development.
